[bldg-sim] Purple color than red, blue or green

You can create new items in DOE2.2 by "linking" them to a previous item.
This way when you change the original item all the items "linked" to it
will also change. equest shows linked items as purple. Who ever set up
your model probably did so using a text editor and not the equest
wizard. The easiest way to remove the link and make the change you want
is to go into the .inp file rather than trying to do it via the windows
interface.

	Hi Albert-

Have you also changed the associated space to conditioned? Both
the space and its zone must be designated the same way. I usually
delete the zone, change the space to conditioned, then recreate the
zone.

I have never seen purple inputs.

		Hello everybody,

In eQuest I notice that there are 3 different colors
(red, blue, and green) to differentiate methods of inputs. I have
encountered purple. I am trying to assign a zone to be unconditioned
from conditioned. Every time I tried to change the "Zone Type",
component linkage window pops up saying I have to remove the linkage
before altering the zone type. I have gone through all systems and found
no linkage to this zone. Yet, I still can't change the zone type. Has
anybody seen this before? How do I fix this? Thank you for your help and
suggestions in advance. I appreciate all help and suggestions.

		Sincerely,

		Albert Sitorus.
