Matthew,

ESP-r has three PV models - a simple efficiency based model and two
one-diode equivalent models. Of the latter, one was developed by
(Kelly,1998) and the other, implemented by Natural Resources Canada,
based on the WATSUN-PV model. You can find information on Kelly's PV
model on the ESRU web site: http://www.esru.strath.ac.uk/ (see
Publications; Kelly's PhD thesis is a good starting point). A validation
of both of ESP-r's one-diode equivalent models is currently underway and
results are to be published soon.

Subject: [BLDG-SIM] about pv simulation

dear all, i am trying to do simulation for bipv and bipv/t in
residential buildings for annual eletricity yield and energy efficiency.
what programs are available for that research purpose? is espr suitable
or should i use pv program PV sol or PvSyst?
is espr good for that simulation?
it will be highly appreciated if you can give any suggestion
