[bldg-sim] Exhaust heat recovery

We are modeling a building which has a large shops
zone that requires 100% exhaust and the make up air
comes from adjacent zones via a transfer duct. The
exhaust air from the shops runs through a heat pipe
and provides energy recovery to a portion of the main
building air handler fresh air intake as a dedicated
heat recovery system. We do not want to run heat
recovery on all the building fresh air, just the
amount equal to the shops exhaust. Since Equest
defines the air flow rate through the energy recovery
unit as the sum of all fresh air demands, we cannot
measure the savings from the exhaust air alone. Any
modeling tips?

Gerald
