What plant simulation are you interested in? If it is ground source heat pump, you may find some useful information regard to your question from following research funded by ASHRAE and GHPC.

"Assessment of anti-freeze solutions for ground-source heat pump systems". The investigators are E.W. Heinonen, R.E.Taoscott, M.W. Wildin, and A.N. Beall.

Subject: [bldg-sim] Errors in substituting water for glycol mixtures in simulation runs

Hello all,

Does anyone know of any documentation outlining the errors that one would expect from substituting water instead of glycol mixtures in simulations of plant efficiency?

Kind regards
