Hi Caleb:

5 will get you 10..

The roof load is in the attic. I had that experience happen to me as
well. Same deal with a plenum..

Subject: [BLDG-SIM] eQuest/baseline basics/roof load

Hello all...

I am modeling (eQuest) a ~7000sf office building-one main level above
grade and a smaller mechanical space above (approximately 25% of main
level floor area). The mechanical space is to be heat-only (but is
understood under appendix-g that this will be modeled as both htg&clg),
is enclosed, and located within the attic space below the roof. All
seems to be well and good until looking at the simulation output where
there is no load contribution from the roof (hipped). Wall/Ceiling
heights have been adjusted with no change under this type of roof.

Hoping this proves to be as basic as assumed it is-any suggestions are
welcome.

Thanks in advance,

caleb
