Yes, 90.1 does mention snowmelt in the first paragraph of Table G3.1.
The way I've done it is in Excel and then add it to the eQuest numbers.


 

That being said, I'd love to figure out a way to model it in eQuest.
Could it be done as a process load?

Yes, I am modeling for LEED. It might be simpler and easier if
Calculating the annual energy consumption for snowmelting system
separately, and somehow adding it to heating load from eQUEST. 

Did you know ASHRAE 90.1-2004 Appendix G mentions anything about
snowmelting? I haven't found yet...
