This feature is not implemented in 1.0.0.023, which you are probably
using. It will be implemented and working in the next release 1.0.1<xxx>
which is scheduled to be released in early January 2002.

Several of the example files show this, for example the TermReheat file:
Surface:HeatTransfer,Zn001:Wall003, !- Base Surface Name
Wall,PARTITION06, !- Class and Construction Name
RESISTIVE ZONE, !- Zone
OtherZone,Zn003:Wall004, !- Exterior Conditions and Target (if applicable)
At present you will have to use your own knowledge to specify the other
surface in the other zone. It is expected that more complex interfaces
which are presumably under development will allow for automatic detection
of these surfaces.
The IDF Editor, I believe, will allow you to pick from list of previously
named surfaces but, of course, you will still have to know which one is the
surface in the other zone. If you have not put in the surfaces for that
zone yet, you may need to enter all your surfaces first and then come back
to pick the proper "other surface" surface names.

Each zone can have a floor. A floor is just a surface (heat transfer) in a
zone. Again, you might look at some of the example files that are
included. For ease of reading, most of these will be labeled as "surface
class" floor.

You will need to specify a report variable as listed in the report variable
dictionary, for example:
Zone,Meter,Electricity:Facility [J]
HVAC,Sum,Zone/Sys Sensible Cooling Energy[J]
Then in your "Report Variable" input, you would select the appropriate
attributes:
Report Variable,*,Electricity:Facility,hourly;
Would give you the facility electricity for all components that use
electricity (and have so registered on the meter outputs) on an hourly basis.
