This means the program errored out, aka bombed.

Sometimes, you'll get a hint in the .err file but more likely, we'll need
to take a look at your input file (just attach it in a personal email to
me: linda@xxxxxxxxxx or send it to EnergyPlus-Support@xxxxxxxx)

If there's a way around the bomb, we'll tell you.
