what is the meaning by "too many figures in a shadow overlap ?"

If you look at the Engineering Document, there is a section on shadowing and in there it has some illustrations on overlapping shadows.

The message is warning that your building is of fair complexity and that it is hitting the limits with figures and shadow overlaps.  It automatically redimensions to get a "better" maximum for your building so unless it can't resolve itself, it is recovering and then continuing with the new "maximum".

I think one of the example buildings (maybe SolarShadingTest) also exhibits this behavior.
