Declaring the view factor to Ground for a floor as 1, what is defined in
the user manual, produces the following error message:

Having the View Factor to Ground as a value of 1.0 is not what is causing this error message. (Warning).

This is caused by geometry specification that then calculates a tilt of 0.0. (which is normal for roofs) rather than the "normal" for floors of 180.  This could be caused by viewing the floor coordinates from "inside" the surface (i.e. from inside the zone) rather than from the outside OR from incorrectly specifying the starting coordinate.
