RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] E+v.1.0.3

Dear Linda,
does it mean that the best way is to uninstall v.1.0.2 (this is what I
understand) and with the installation of v. 1.0.3 I still get all the
documentation etc. ?
Sorry for my stupid question.

You do not have to uninstall V1.0.2 to install V1.0.3.

If you install V1.0.3 to an entirely new folder (choosing that during the
install), you would be able to run either V1.0..2 or V1.0.3
indepedently. (However, if you choose to associate files with EP-Launch,
you could end up in a confusing situation -- more on that if you want).

If you choose to put V1.0.3 in the same folder you had V1.0.2 (not
recommended), it will back up most of the files into a folder called
"backup" but files we no longer install would not be backed up and would
still be in the original folder.

The V1.0.3 is a complete install -- new documentation, example files,
etc. Old files of the same name are replaced with new ones.

  Hope this helps explain it.
