RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Pre-conditioning days



Umesh:

EnergyPlus takes the first day of any simulation (whether it is a 
design day or a run period) and repeats it until the results repeat 
(or until the max warmup days are reached).  So, the result is the 
same as if you experienced this same day for many days in a row.  
Perhaps the other program does not intialize the same way?  If you 
want to initialize EnergyPlus to a certain condition and then see the 
results of a single day with different conditions, you need to create 
a custom weather file with a period of your initial conditions prior 
to the day of interest.
