[EnergyPlus_Support] COMIS AIR FLOW:opening/crack naming philosophy.
In a dormitory, many windows are identical.
So the input values for COMIS AIR FLOW:OPENING will be the same
(except the first field for name) if I name each opening(window)
differently.
To simplify,
Can I just use one OPENING name, ie.,define just one COMIS AIR
FLOW:OPENING for all the identical windows, and reference it to all
the identical windows?(identical windows have different
Surface:HeatTransfer:Sub names). [This philosophy is the same as
define one CONSTRUCTION and use it for different surfaces.]
I deduct from the crack input in 3zvent.idf that the above is true.
Would like to be sure.
Thanks,
Ming
