[EnergyPlus_Support] Macro processing on Linux machines

Hello e+ users,

I'm strongly in need of macro processing, to create sufficiently
flexible template idf files. They are needed for inclusion into an
automatic (genetic algorithm) pareto-optimization scheme, to easily
replace configuration parameters and such for repetitive target function
values determination.

I tested the macro processing scheme by trying to include a
materials/constructions library that was sym-linked into the working
directory and, by this, should be directly addressible.

According to the InputOutputReference.pdf a syntax similar to

##fileprefix ...
##include ...

should do the job, but I tested (at least I guess) any sensible
combination for including the library file without any success, including

##fileprefix ./
##fileprefix ./;
##fileprefix "./"
##fileprefix "./";

##include BLASTConstructs.idf
##include BLASTConstructs.idf;
##include "BLASTConstructs.idf"
...

So the simple question is: How do you do it on Linux/Unix machines?!?

Regards,
