Simple ventilation was added in V1.0.3 or V1.0.2 -- it was enhanced in V1.1

Each of the object inputs is described in the IO Reference document.  One 
way you can find documentation is to "search" (use the search button) from 
the EPlusMainMenu document (you will need to have the Acrobat Reader with 
searching capabilities).

Both features are highlighted in example files as well:

FreeCoolingChiller.idf
and
SimpleVentilation.idf

are the primary examples.
