[EnergyPlus_Support] running comis with HVAC

I know that comis is not susposed to give reliable results when the HVAC 
system is running but is this only true when mechanical ventilation is present 
where outside air is being brought in.  If my HVAC system just recirculates 
the inside air such that the conditioning system is not pressurizing or 
depressurizing the zone, will the comis results be accurate.
