RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Zone mean air temperature

Everything is now running to the heating set point, thanks Mike. You were right to be suspicious of the boilers. When the boiler branch control type is changed from "active" to "passive", the boilers all of a sudden start working, and register readings. The trouble is, the chillers no longer register as much load as they did before the boiler change. These are currently set on active. I have tried iterations of passive and active control. Seems I can get either boilers and chillers working as they should, and either temperature or humidity working as it should, but not all 4 parts working at once. My research paper is due in five days so I am wrapping up my findings for now. I am sure eventually the model will sort itself out. Thank you very much for all your assistance.

Did some more with this. Main air loop had multiple supply and
return fans in series and many max iteration errors. Tried changing
this to a single supply and return fan, did not help. Noticed that
the heating load range was being exceeded and increased the upper
limit by a factor of 100 or so. This helped, but there are still
many max iteration errors. Added reporting of the plant loop outlet
temperature and boiler operation. The plant loop temperature is
fluctuating widely and the boilers are never operating. That's all
for today. I suspect there is a problem with the hot water loop
and how it is connected or controlled.
