RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Orphan Object: Generator:PV:Simple

Thanks for sending me your input file. Here is a summary of why it wasn't working.
1 . the file needed an ELECTRIC LOAD CENTER:DISTRIBUTION object
2. Two fields in ELECTRIC LOAD CENTER:GENERATORS were missing. One of these refers to an availability schedule, which also needed to be defined elsewhere in the file.
3. To use the building INTEGRATED PV mode you have to use the object CONSTRUCTION WITH INTERNAL SOURCE for that surface (rather than CONSTRUCTION). The "source" is actually treated as sink to account for electrical energy exported from the surface.
4. the surface named in the GENERATOR:PV:SIMPLE did not match the name in the Surface:HeatTransfer

Without seeing your file, I would guess that you need to add ELECTRIC LOAD
CENTER:DISTRIBUTION and ELECTRIC LOAD CENTER:GENERATORS to your idf file. See
the GeneratorswithPV.idf example file.
