Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Why I have never succeed in using IFCtoIDF utility?



You have to define Spaces in your model. IFCtoIDF uses these Spaces to
identify Thermal Zones for E+, and to subdivide surfaces like Walls,
Floors, and Ceilings/Roofs into thermal boundary surfaces, and determine
what zone is on the other side of interior walls.

If adding Spaces to your model does not help, please email your model
directly to me so that I can review it.
