[EnergyPlus_Support] Solar Gain Reduction feature
Concerning my earlier question about detached shading surfaces, I was wondering if Energy Plus incorporated a "Solar Gain Reduction". I noticed that the RESFEN program developed by the windows group at LBL includes a feature to use a solar gain reduction to model different scenarios. I was wondering if anyone new what the "typical Solar Gain Reduction" refered to in terms of what percentage of reduction this would be and instead of creating arbitrary detached surfaces, if I can just include this feature in Energy Plus.
Thanks
Ian
