[EnergyPlus_Support] A Doubt?

Hi,
  I have a doubt about "controlled zone equip configuration".When we 
input the variables in this object,field "List name:zone equipment" 
and "Node List or Node Name: Zone Air Inlet Node" have been decribed.
Why should we input the name once again but not to select?If the 
controlled zone are more,how complicated it is!(Although we can copy& 
paste).Does it have further  meanings?
