[EnergyPlus_Support] Groundtemp calculate?

Dear,
  I want gain the input values of the Groundtemperature object.From 
the i/o reference and the Auxiliary programs documents,i know that 
the temp is calculated from the slab.exe program.It required to 
create the .idf.But where can i create the .idf?There is a IDF Editor 
in Energyplus to create the input .idf file.Did the slab.exe program 
have a IDF Editor too?
