Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] About Weather file





The weather data that EnergyPlus currently uses are:
dry bulb temperature, dew point temperature, relative humidity,
wind speed and direction, atmospheric pressure, and solar radiation
and cloud cover.  You can safely leave out the other data.

Some of the data such as atmospheric pressure, wind
direction are not as critical (for most applications!).  So
you can substitute a constant or randomly varying value.

Dear,
  I meet a trouble about weather file.I get the weather data from the
weather station.But i find that the weather data i can get is fewer
than the Energyplus weather file.In other words,some data in
Energyplus weather file format can't be gained.Thus,how can i convert
my weather data to the Energyplus weather data?How to deal with the
data that is unknown?
