Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] infiltration rate




At present, COMIS works like windows do in a real building, i.e, they will
stay open or shut
independent of whether the AC comes on or not.  The difficulty in
implementing "hybrid ventilation"
where the windows are locked shut whenever the AC comes on is that the COMIS
calculation comes
before the systems are simulated. Although ADSmodels the interactions of the
air flows through the mechanical system as well as infiltration through the
building shell, but I don't think it models window opening or closing, nor
doesthe control logic needed for hybrid ventilation.
