Data for Yagon, Myanmar was posted yesterday
on the EnergyPlus_Support YahooGroups site
under Files /Meteonorm_Weather_Files/
Repeating the message from yesterday:
As in the past, if no one else has measured data,
we can create a file using Meteonorm--based on
statistics. We will only post these files on the
EnergyPlus_Support YahooGroup web site.
BUT ... Meteonorm extrapolates hourly data from
statistical data for a location. Where statistical
data aren't available, Meteonorm interpolates from
other nearby sites. Generally a statistical approach
is a LAST REPORT--weather files generated from
statistics do not demonstrate the normal hour-to-hour
and day-to-day variability seen in measured data.
IN ALL CASES, YOU SHOULD REVIEW THE .STAT FILE FOR
THE LOCATION BEFORE USING ANY OF THESE FILES TO ENSURE
THAT IT REPRESENTS THE CLIMATE OF THE LOCATION AS YOU
UNDERSTAND IT. IN MANY CASES, A NEARBY LOCATION WITH
MEASURED DATA MAY BE MORE APPROPRIATE THAN ONE DERIVED
FROM STATISTICS.
YOU USE THESE FILES ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

hello..
I am a Research student doing dessertation..
I have found weather data of the area :Mandalay, Pagan and Napali Beach
in Myanmar (Burma).
Can someone kindly send me these information if these have been done?
I would really appreciate your help as it will bring me much further in my
research.
