Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Absorbed Radiation



This equation is stating that all long-wave radiation from internal sources is 
absorbed at the inside face of the innermost pane of glass.  If I understand 
this correctly, the subscripts refer to the two faces (inside and outside) of 
each pane, counting from the outside face of the outermost pane.

So, for a single-pane window (n=1), the outside of the glass is S1, and the 
inside of the glass is S2.  So, this equation does apply to single-pane glass.
