Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] heating loads

Thanks for responding. I have checked the internal loads schedules and also the weather data belongs Sterling Va or Washington Dc, which has really cold winters. My model does not involve natural ventilation but a betweenglass shade with airflow.(outside to outside).

I have posted my file house.idf on the support group files area for further investigation. I am goingout of ideas.

thanks
Amit

If the zone temperature is greater than the thermostat set point
temperature, the heating rate should be 0. Does your simulation use
outdoor ventilation air or infiltration? Does the occupants/equipment
schedules produce enough heat to raise the zone air temperature? Is you
climate cold enough to require heating? Something in your input deck is
heating the zone which in turn disables the heating coil.

Search the example files to find a system similar to yours and
familiarize yourself with that input deck.

If you can't find a solution, upload your input deck to the support
group files area.
