For basic system sizing, use either the Cooling (DB=>MWB) .4% or 1% dry bulb 
design day.  The percentage represents the % of time the Dry Bulb temperature 
exceeded the design day maximum temperature in the 20-30-year period of record 
used to develop the data.  The WB (wet-bulb) days can be used for cooling tower 
and evaporative cooling applications, and the DP (dew-point) days are used for 
applications with humidity control, especially with high ventilation rates.
