Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Window Thermal Conductance

Hi i am Deepak from TERI Delhi India

  You r speaking about two different variables. As far as i know in IDF editor you need consuctivity and all values needed for defining glass in EIO can be got from Dataset folder when u open the E+ folder in ur C drive and u will have a seperate file which has all the properties of all possible type of glasses. So, it is all in the 'Dataset' folder. U can search for it.

  C drive/E+ folder/Datasets/windowglass file. right click and open with notepad.

  Hello.
I have an input of single layer clear glass (thickness 0.003m;
Conductivity 0.56W/mK). In the EIO file, Conductance of the glass is
given as 6.174W/m2K, which is different from 0.56/0.003 W/m2K.
May I know how the value of conductance in EIO is obtained?
Thank you!
