RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Trench Heating for moderating window condensation
I don't think EnergyPlus can do this analysis properly. There is even mixing of zone air so any updraft at a window is not modeled. I think you need to use CFD for a better estimate of performance. I typically model the glass and frame system in THERM and then play with the inside boundary for both temperature and film coeficients (air speed) to find out what is needed for the window frame and glazing performance, then I try to make it happen in the design.
