[EnergyPlus_Support] effective opening for a LVO type 2 in COMIS

hi,

I am calculating the volumes of air that are flowing through a window
during the year. For this i am using COMIS integrated in EnergyPlus.
I also have to calculate them by hand. And i get a wrong result for
the effective opening of my windows in some cases:

For a type 1 large vertical opening (LVO) i get the right result with
my hand calculations following the calculation method in the manual on
page 343.

But for a LVO type 2 (a window pivoting round a horizontal axis) i
can't get the result EnergyPlus calculates. And there is no help in
the manual?

Has someone already calculated these volumes by hand for a LVO type 2
and get the right result? Or does someone know how EnergyPlus
calculates the effective opening of this type of windows?

Thank you!
Sebastian
