[EnergyPlus_Support] weather file conversion problem

Dear Mike,
  I got  weather file for my town from "energy plus energy simulation software" website. I got my weather file in csv format. I opened weather converter from preprocess and I opened "data utility to assist in creating Energy plus weather formatted data" menu. The moment I clicked on "convert file" (last button on that menu), another window saying "Visual fortran run time error"  is getting opened. Finally I could not do any progress.
               Please help me how to convert into ".epw" formatt, as i know that E+ can only understand  ".epw" format only.
