[EnergyPlus_Support] defnitions file

Dear Linda,
The following is the reply you gave me the other day
  "Thanks, I understand better now.

This CSV format is from the "real time" weather supplier and is not the same as EnergyPlus's CSV format. It is more like a Custom format for EnergyPlus and would need a def file (definitions file). These can be read about in the Auxiliary programs document.

Possibly a better option from the "real time" supply is the IWEC format, but this will still have some problems in the EnergyPlus weather converter as there is no solar recorded, I believe, for any of the stations.

Perhaps I should also address the real time data (and how it might be used) as it is also on the EnergyPlus website to try to avoid confusion in the future.

Linda"

Okay now I have gone through defnitions file.
the following questions are going through my mind.
1.) If there is defnitions file, how do I write the file? Do I need to write it in exel or notepad?
2.)If at all I am sucessfull in writing defnitions file where do I store it?
3.)On Page 15 in the auxillary document"fields bellow only used in "Custom format processing". Is there any difference between customs file & defnitions file.
I guess I am totally confused . KIndly explain me clearly the whole scenario of sucessfully inputting weather file of my town(fayetteville-Arkansas) into E+.?
Also my masters project is completly based on E+.
  Your help is greatly appreciated
  thanks in Advance
  kiran
