They are there -- by default if you use DXF reporting, they appear as 
thick lines.   If you want you can ask for triangulation and they 
will appear as "faces".

You are possibly inputting them counter clock wise rather than 
clockwise or vice versa.  It used the coordinates and calculates the 
"outward facing normal" angle to determine the tilt angle -- it does 
not depend on surface type for this.
