[EnergyPlus_Support] Solar radiation measurement

Hi all,

Generally the solar meter can only supply the data of global horizontal 
radiation. I looked through the AuxiliaryPrograms.pdf and found this 
variable "is not currently used".  Even though there are other two 
fields ¡°direct normal radiation¡±and "diffuse horizontal radiation" 
available for the program input, well how can I get the two from the 
original data on "global horizontal radiation"?
