RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Slab preprocessor question

Maybe you are thinking that the "ratio" is non-dimensional; area over
perimeter still has units of length and can distinguish between large
and small slabs.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] Slab preprocessor question

I'm trying to use the slab preprocessor for the first time, but I think
I'm missing (overlooked?)
somthing...

The slab program uses a "area/perimeter" ratio to calculate a
rectangular equivalent slab - So
far so good. But I don't see anywhere in the docs where to specify any
absolute scale for the
ratio to calculate from. It seems to me that the ratio itself would be
insufficient to perform
the calculations since a large slab and a small slab would have very
different temperature
gradients across them.

What am I missing?
