1&2. As Andy mentioned, there is information on the EnergyPlus web site,
specifically at

3. The DXF drawings of the building envelope may be imported into AutoCAD or
other tools that support DXF. A free DXF viewer, VoloViewExpress is available
at:
http://www.gard.com/vve201setup.exe
The SVG HVAC diagram output can be viewed with one of the following:
Internet Explorer browser with the Adobe SVG Viewer plug-in
http://www.adobe.com/svg
Opera Internet browser
http://www.opera.com
