RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Gains

In general, you want to check out the .rdd file (created by EnergyPlus)
for a complete list of report variables available for the model. Then
repeat the run with additional requests for the report variables you are
interested in. Requests for results can be for many different time
scales and appear in different places. First to get the .rdd file.
include this in your input file:

Report, Variable Dictionary;

>From what you describe below, I would suggest adding the following
report requests to your input file. These next two objects will produce
a separate "Tabular" report file that may have all you need.

  Report:Table:Style,  HTML;

  Report:Table:Predefined,

    Annual Building Utility Performance Summary,

    Input Verification and Results Summary,

    Equipment Summary;

For time series results you could use the following:

Report Variable, *, Zone Lights Electric Power, Timestep;

Report Variable, *, Zone People Total Heat Gain, Timestep; (you could
convert from J to W using the time step)

Report Variable, *, Surface Ext Solar Beam Incident; (you could convert
from W/m2 to W using the surface area).

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] Gains

Dear all:
How Can I know the exact magnitud of gains (Watts) due
to people, the exact magnitud for those due to lights,
etc. There is a detailed file for each surface of a
zone, isn't it; with that file can I know the direct
solar radiation over each surface?
Thanks a lot.
