RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] relating ventilation and air velocity in the people object
You can do this manually by coordinating the input schedules so that the
air velocity schedule in People object tracks the flow rates in the
Ventilation or Infiltration objects. The program doesn't (always) model
this for you, because it is quite challenging to model the local air
velocities that people will sense from just the bulk air flow rates. An
exception here is the special RoomAir model called UCSD Cross
Ventilation which is coupled to the air velocity and temperature terms
in the thermal comfort calculations.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] relating ventilation and air velocity in
the people object
Dear all,
Maybe this question might have a commonsense answer, but is there a
way to relate the air velocity in the "People" object with those of
the ventilation/infiltration?
Thanks,
Carlos
