No, and heat exchanger cannot be added to a fan coil unit.
A close approximation would be a fan coil with no outside air plus an ENERGY
RECOVERY VENTILATOR:STAND ALONE both serving the same zone. Be sure to set the
ENERGY RECOVERY VENTILATOR:STAND ALONE to run first for both heating and
cooling so that the fan coil will "see" the impact of the ventilation air. The
key difference from the integrated HX is that the entering conditions to the
fan coil cooling coil will be different, but overall the energy use should be
very similar.
