Sorry, should have updated this.

He sent me the input file.  The dip was caused by the weather file 
raining during the indicated period -- which in turn changes the 
convection coefficient for that surface -- considering the surface 
wet.  This is what caused the dip.

You can, in the Run Period object, turn off the rain indicator usage.
