RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] 2 shading layers
Alexandre,
It should be possible to combine internal blinds with external shading
shading devices by positioning Surface:Shading:Detached:Fixed,
Surface:Shading:Detached:Building objects outside the window and using the
standard internal window blind mechanism. You can define the thermal and
visual transmission/reflection of the shading surfaces and transmission can
vary according to a schedule.
A convenient way to set up the shading surface data is to use the
DesignBuilder user interface. You can draw component blocks and these are
modelled as shading surfaces.

I can't think of a good way to fake more than 1 shading device; perhaps
someone else can.
We have no plans to model more than 2 shading device - we've been more
concerned about
modeling multiple partial shading states. We will consider your request
as we plan future window
system modeling upgrades.
