[EnergyPlus_Support] What's the node?

Hi I started energyplus a few days ago, so I'm trying to find out the 
way figuring dedicated outdoor air system.
What's the exactly meaning of NODE?
I couldn't understand instruction about loopnode.
Please Tell me easily what the Node is 
additionally how to make a loop node
