[EnergyPlus_Support] very primary!

Dear all, I'm just starting usung Energy+ and can't make heads or 
tails of it reading its long documentation files.. just finding 
information about its input and output files, not about how to start 
modelling and using it!could anyone help telling me where to find a 
simplified approach/manual to use it?
