Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Outside reveal shadowing



The outside reveal depth is defined by the coordinates of the window vertices 
relative to the plane of the base wall surface.  For example, if the corners of 
a south-facing wall are at y=10, and window with a reveal of 0.2m would have 
coordinates with y=10.2.  This is discussed on p. 179 (pdf p.217) of the Input 
Output Reference.

The inside reveal must be defined using the window frame and divider inputs.  
Note that the material thicknesses are not known by the solar shading 
algorithms.  Please send me the input file which causes a crash, so we can add 
a trap with an error message.
