[EnergyPlus_Support] Variables

Hi,
  1- Which Variables must be filled in IDF Editor, if I need only the total annual heating and cooling energy demand of a building?
  2- If it is possible by E+ to receive a normal Excel file as Result instead of a Comma-Separated Excel file?
