Sorry, I failed to mention that the "sum" Outside Air Method is not
available in the COMPACT HVAC zone sizing object, not the regular "ZONE
SIZING" object. I guess I can make the necessary changes to the "expanded"
file and rerun the design calculation using the "sum" option.

The "sum" option is available and active in version 2.0.0.025. Perhaps
you're 
opening an old version of IDF Editor by mistake? Check the version number 
shown near the lower left corner of the IDF Editor window.
