I forgot to respond to this comment.  It is not good to use the v1.4 EP-Launch 
with v2.0.  The batch file error should not occur.  I would recommend 
reinstalling v2.0, and be sure there are no spaces or special characters in the 
path to the main EnergyPlus folder.
