[EnergyPlus_Support] Day of the week start day

For the RUNPERIOD - What determines the "Day of the week start day"? - 
Is this day determined from the weatherfile, or can this day just be 
nominated as desired?  If the RUNPERIOD draws out the relevant days 
from the weather file, how can the start day be nominated - wouldn't 
this value be obligatory?
