Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Wall condensation

Dear Josep,

I thik that these condensation variables give us a first approach to the problem. In case they report condensation, you can be sure you will have a general condensation over the surface. In case they don't report condensation, there is still the possibility of condensation located around cold spots.

I'm not sure if these variables are absolutely correctly calculated.

Point temperature (for condensation purpose) it's always a bi dimensional o three-dimensional o forth dimensional problem in my opinion interactions between adjacent building components are not well modelisated in Energy plus (it's not the goal!).

Usually condensation analysis needs different film coefficients factors than energetic calculation.

There are report variables for window surfaces only:

 Zone,Average,Inside Glass Condensation Flag[]
 Zone,Average,Inside Frame Condensation Flag[]
 Zone,Average,Inside Divider Condensation Flag[]
